Copper Hill Golf Academy (Ages 5 - 8) (Saturdays) Join Copper Hill Golf staff for 2 exciting golf opportunities this spring for our youngest budding golfers (ages 5 to 8). This introductory program is built around fun, fundamentals, and friendship. Using age-appropriate equipment, engaging games, and positive coaching, young golfers learn the core skills of the great game of golf while developing basic understanding of the game We will offer 2 options for lessons.
Option 1: After school at Allgrove Elementary School on Mondays, April 27, 2026- May 18, 2026 from 3:05pm - 4:15pm. Staff from East Granby Parks and Recreation staff will transitions students from after school to the golf program.
Option 2: Saturday mornings at Copper Hill Golf Academy. Saturdays: April 18, 2026- May 16, 2026 at either 10am (full) or 11am.

Girl's Circle- Spring Session Girls' Circle is a nurturing and empowering space designed specifically for young girls in the third through fifth grades and led by Alisa Ruggerio. This support and skill building group aims to foster friendship, self-confidence, and personal growth in a supportive environment. Girls come together to engage in various activities and discussions that promote positive self-image, resilience, and healthy relationships. Through age-appropriate activities, they learn about teamwork, effective communication, and problem-solving skills while building lasting friendships. Creativity, curiosity, and self-expression is encouraged, with activities ranging from arts and crafts to group discussions on topics like self-esteem, kindness, and embracing diversity. It's a place where girls can freely express their thoughts and feelings while gaining the confidence to navigate the challenges they may encounter in their everyday lives. *All discussions will be confidential, except under specific circumstances.*A light snack is provided. Each week brings a new hands-on challenge and plenty of creative fun.Classes will be held:Grades K-2:Winter 2 Session: Tuesdays, March 10 - April 21, 2026 (no class April 14th) Class will be held at EG Farms in the Sears House (white building on your left when you pull in). In this imaginative cooking class, kids will turn their favorite in-game foods into real-life snacks and treats. From edible "golden apples" to pixel-perfect slime balls, students will learn cooking skills, teamwork, and creativity as they whip up recipes inspired by their favorite game. Each week features a new culinary adventure that brings Minecraft to life - no pickaxe required! Spring 2026 Drop-In Basketball Pass Come and join us for a drop-in game of basketball!
This program is a drop-in program for anyone over the age of 18. Different teams are made weekly based on the players present. Priority is given to those who purchase a punch card and arrive at 7:00 pm. The cost for a full session punch card is $50 or you can purchase a drop-in pass each week for $7. We encourage you to register in advance. Our Spring Session will run Wednesdays, April 1 - May 27, 2026 in the New Gym at the East Granby High School
An East Granby Parks and Recreation Waiver is required in order to play and can be signed when you come to play the 1st time or you can download the form below.

Soccer Shots Mini (Wednesdays): Spring Session Soccer Shots Mini Program Soccer Shots Mini is designed for 2 - 3 1/2 year olds. It is a high energy program introducing young children to fundamental soccer principles such as using your feet, dribbling, and basic rules of the game. Through fun games and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing soccer and being active. Please have the players come dressed to play and bring a water bottle. Soccer Shots Classic utilizes creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills like dribbling, passing and shooting. We also highlight a positive character trait each session, such as respect, teamwork and appreciation.This program is geared toward 3 year-olds who have soccer experience up to those not yet enrolled in kindergarten. Please have the players come dressed to play and bring a water bottle. Spring 2026 Drop-In Basketball Pass Come and join us for a drop-in game of basketball!
This program is a drop-in program for anyone over the age of 18. Different teams are made weekly based on the players present. Priority is given to those who purchase a punch card and arrive at 7:00 pm. The cost for a full session punch card is $50 or you can purchase a drop-in pass each week for $7. We encourage you to register in advance. Our Spring Session will run Wednesdays, April 1 - May 27, 2026 in the New Gym at the East Granby High School
An East Granby Parks and Recreation Waiver is required in order to play and can be signed when you come to play the 1st time or you can download the form below.
Please follow the East Granby Parks and Recreation Facebook page or register online to receive notifications for last minute changes due to scheduling conflicts with High School events/programs or weather related closings.

Spring Session: Out of the Box: 3D & Mixed Media Art (Grades 3-5) Think Big, Build Bold, and Create Like never Before!!Kids become inventors of art as they cut, sculpt, and design with cardboard, fabric, wire, and recycled treasures. Each week brings a new hands-on challenge and plenty of creative fun.Classes will be held:Grades K-2:Winter 2 Session: Tuesdays, March 10 - April 21, 2026 (no class April 14th) Class will be held at EG Farms in the Sears House (white building on your left when you pull in). Students will be met at Allgrove by staff and will be transported on the school bus to EG Farms.Spring Session: Tuesdays, April 28 - May 26, 2026Class will be held at EG Farms in the Sears House (white building on your left when you pull in). Students will be met at Allgrove by staff and will be transported on the school bus to EG Farms.Grades 3-5:Spring Session: Thursdays, April 30 - June 4, 2026Angela Uttberg is a crafter for life. From the time she was a child she was surrounded by paper scraps, glitter, glue, and crafted as her way to connect with the world around her. That early spark grew into a lifelong love for creating - experimenting with materials, exploring new ideas, and finding job in making something from nothing. Creativity grounds her and inspires her. It Keeps her curious, and imaginative. When not crafting she can be found hiking in the woods with her dog, recharging in nature.

Copper Hill Golf Academy (Ages 5 - 8) (Saturdays) Join Copper Hill Golf staff for 2 exciting golf opportunities this spring for our youngest budding golfers (ages 5 to 8). This introductory program is built around fun, fundamentals, and friendship. Using age-appropriate equipment, engaging games, and positive coaching, young golfers learn the core skills of the great game of golf while developing basic understanding of the game We will offer 2 options for lessons.
Option 1: After school at Allgrove Elementary School on Mondays, April 27, 2026- May 18, 2026 from 3:05pm - 4:15pm. Staff from East Granby Parks and Recreation staff will transitions students from after school to the golf program.

Girl's Circle- Spring Session Girls' Circle is a nurturing and empowering space designed specifically for young girls in the third through fifth grades and led by Alisa Ruggerio. This support and skill building group aims to foster friendship, self-confidence, and personal growth in a supportive environment. Girls come together to engage in various activities and discussions that promote positive self-image, resilience, and healthy relationships. Through age-appropriate activities, they learn about teamwork, effective communication, and problem-solving skills while building lasting friendships. Creativity, curiosity, and self-expression is encouraged, with activities ranging from arts and crafts to group discussions on topics like self-esteem, kindness, and embracing diversity. It's a place where girls can freely express their thoughts and feelings while gaining the confidence to navigate the challenges they may encounter in their everyday lives. *All discussions will be confidential, except under specific circumstances.*A light snack is provided. Minecraft Cooking: Allgrove (K-2) Session 2 Step into the world of Minecraft, only this time it’s on your plate! In this imaginative cooking class, kids will turn their favorite in-game foods into real-life snacks and treats. From edible "golden apples" to pixel-perfect slime balls, students will learn cooking skills, teamwork, and creativity as they whip up recipes inspired by their favorite game. Each week features a new culinary adventure that brings Minecraft to life - no pickaxe required!
