Tiny Tumblers introduces young children to the fundamentals of acrobatics and tumbling in a fun, engaging, and safe environment designed just for little movers. This playful and age-appropriate class helps children build a strong foundation in movement while encouraging curiosity, confidence, and coordination.

Through structured yet imaginative activities, students develop basic tumbling skills such as forward rolls, animal walks, balancing, and beginner inversions. Along the way, they also build body awareness, core strength, flexibility, and gross motor coordination—all essential for healthy physical development.

The curriculum gently weaves in elements of dance and creative movement to keep young learners engaged and inspired. Group activities and games help promote listening skills, turn-taking, and social interaction, making it a well-rounded introduction to both movement and classroom readiness.

Tiny Tumblers is the perfect first step into the world of movement, offering a joyful space where children can explore what their bodies can do—while building strength, self-esteem, and a love of active play.

All tiny tumblers will be barefoot during the class

About the Instructor
Cindy Williams is the director and sole choreographer of the East Granby Parks and Recreation Dance Program. She began teaching at the age of 17 and later opened her own studio in Springfield, MA, which she ran for 15 years. After closing the studio to welcome her fifth child, Cindy taught for 22 years at New England Dance & Gymnastics Centers in Granby, CT and Westfield, MA. In 2019, she launched the East Granby Parks & Rec program, quickly growing it from 35 to over 150 dancers.

Certified by Dance Educators of America, Cindy is dedicated to teaching strong technique in a fun, supportive environment. Her mission is to nurture not only skilled dancers, but kind, respectful individuals. Today, she continues to build a dance community rooted in confidence, connection, and a lifelong love of dance.
