Cancellation and Refund Policy

1. East Granby Parks and Recreation reserves the right to cancel programs for insufficient enrollment numbers. In the event we cancel a program, you will receive a full refund.

2. Programs & activities held inside school buildings will follow East Granby Public Schools weather cancellations and holiday schedules (unless otherwise noted). Weather cancellations will be determined on a case by case basis for programs and activities held in a town building and/or off-site. Weather cancellations are announced via email and on Facebook

3. Refunds may be issued if you request a program cancellation a minimum of 1 week prior to it beginning (excluding bus trips which are non-refundable). A $20 cancellation fee will be deducted from each program being cancelled. Refunds requested less than a week before a program beginning are not guaranteed, and will be assessed on a case by case basis.

4. Refunds will NOT be issued after a program has already started. Exceptions may be made for medical reasons, but only with a letter from a medical professional stating participant is unable to continue with the program.

5. Refunds may be issued in the following ways:
  • An account credit can be placed on your Parks and Recreation account. Account credits never expire and may be applied to any future program, activity, or membership.
  • A check can be mailed to your house. Please allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
  • If a credit card was used for payment, a refund may be processed back to the original method of payment. Please allow 5-7 business days for it to appear on your statement.
