Come experience a hands-on world of fun as each student will conduct a variety of scientific experiments!
Students will work on and take home their very own Chemistry Lab Kit, enabling them to complete many activities!
Learn and discover many different scientific concepts in an entertaining and innovative approach. Students will be trained to work like a real scientist in the lab. They will also make and take home some cool chemical creations!
Learn all about energy and molecules, create a crazy bouncy glob from glue, and some scary green slime! Students will make their very own UV bracelet and watch it react to the sun.
Our young learners will also get to witness some amazing scientific demonstrations from their instructor. Watch snow being created and feel how cold it is!
Experience a powerful magnet, magic sand, and many other exciting experiments in this fascinating and educational program!
Mondays: April 20, 2026 – June 1, 2026 (NO CLASS Monday, May 25, 2026)

Students will be walked from Carl Allgrove Elementary by Parks and Recreation Staff over to the EG Community Center after school. Pick up will be at the East Granby Senior/Community Center (20 Center Street, East Granby).
