Chocolate Confections

Join Food Explorers for a celebration of chocolate! 
 
Each week you will learn to a make a deliciously sweet chocolate confection.  You will be making:  Chocolate Pancake Tacos, Chocolate Mini Donuts with a Chocolate Glaze, Chocolate Strawberry Cheesecake Cups, Chocolate Orange Pies.  All recipes are nut-free but may contain dairy, eggs and gluten.

Food Explorers instructors aim to empower and inspire children to create delicious food, gain confidence in the kitchen and listen to their bodies.  

Students will be signed out by Parks and Recreation staff and transitioned into the program.  The permission form linked below is required for your child to participate in this program.

New dates:  Join us on Mondays:  March 3 - March 24, 2025 (snow date of March 31, 2025) from 2:55pm - 4:15pm.  The program will take place at R.D. Seymour School after-school in the cafeteria.  Pick up is promptly at 4:15pm at the Cafeteria side entrance. 

Required Permission Slip
The forms link below contains the permission slip required by Seymour School, for your child to participate in this after school program. Please return the signed permission slip to eastgranbyrecreation@gmail.com no later than one week prior to the start of the program. Failure to submit a completed permission slip on time may forfeit your child's spot.
