playgroup setup
This playgroup, designed for early walkers through preschoolers, is a wonderful opportunity for parents and their little ones to bond, learn, and play together in a safe and supportive environment.

The East Granby Farms Recreation Building is transformed into a giant playroom and parents/caregivers actively participate in various interactive activities, games, and creative projects alongside their children, fostering a strong sense of connection and shared experiences. We provide age-appropriate play stations and educational materials to stimulate your child's curiosity and imagination.
  
From sensory exploration to fine and gross motor activities and process-based arts and crafts, every session is thoughtfully crafted to encourage early development and socialization. Each week, our time together finishes with a short circle time, where our facilitator reads a story and leads the group in interactive music and movement. Please bring a drink and a nut-free snack for your child to enjoy while they listen to the story.
  
Our playgroup is not just a place for kids to play; it's a warm and welcoming community where parents can connect with other families, share experiences, and build lasting friendships. Together, we'll create beautiful memories as we witness your child's growth and development during these formative years.

Cost per child: $56 resident | $61 non-resident

Fall Session: 
Mondays, 10/23 - 12/11 | 9:30 - 10:30 am

Winter Session: 
Mondays, 1/22 - 3/18 | 9:30 - 10:30 am
(no class 2/19)

Spring Session: 
Mondays, 4/15 - 6/10 | 9:30 - 10:30 am
(no class 5/27)

Drop-In Fee:
$10 per child per week


We follow the East Granby Public School Calendar. Should school be cancelled or delayed, playgroup is cancelled for that day.

Drop-Ins
We do allow drop-ins, depending on enrollment and attendance. The drop-in fee is $10 per child per week. Please email beckyh@egtownhall.com to confirm space availability.
