About the Instructor:
Lori Rapuano is an award-winning artist and a Connecticut native who has always been passionate about art. She lives in East Granby, CT with her husband. Lori graduated from Smith College with a major in Studio Art, and from the University of Connecticut with a master’s in business administration. She began painting in watercolors about fifteen years ago. She loves the beauty of the colors, and the challenges of the transparent watercolor medium.
"I strive to capture the beauty of a moment and share it with others. Sometimes this moment is part of everyday life, right in front of me waiting to be noticed, and other times it comes from special places, circumstances, people, and even my imagination." -Lori Rapuano
Her work has been in many shows, often winning awards, including The Connecticut Watercolor Society, The Northeast Watercolor Society, The Academic Artists, Vermont Watercolor Society, The East Granby Library and Agawam Library Juried Art Shows and the Granby Land Trust show.
