Mini Adventurers Campers with inflatable shark
Join us for a fun, exciting and activity filled program geared toward our youngest campers.  This program will provide opportunities for self-expression, creativity, crafts, music, games and plenty of FUN!  We will have indoor and outdoor activities and special guests throughout the weeks.

The program is for children who have reached their 3rd birthday by the start of camp, through those who are 5 but not yet in kindergarten.  All participants must be toilet trained.

Schedule:
All weeks of camp are held 9:00 am - 12:00 pm, in the Recreation Building at East Granby Farms (79 North Main Street, East Granby).
If your camper is entering Kindergarten in the Fall, see our Kindergarten Extension option.

2024 Theme Weeks:
Week 1:  (June 17 - 21) Dinosaur Discovery
Roar into prehistoric times with a week dedicated to dinosaurs!  Featuring exciting fossil excavations, dino-themed arts and crafts, and educational activities, our campers will be transported back to the age of these magnificent creatures.

Week 2: (June 24 - June 28) Superhero Training Camp
Unleash the superhero within!  Campers will participate in superhero-themed games, create capes and masks, and discover their unique superpowers as they undergo a week of fun and empowerment.  We will also have visits from some of our Community Heroes to help us learn how to put our super powers into action.

Week 3: (July 8 - July 12) Under the Sea & At the Beach
Dive into the ocean as campers discover the enchanting world beneath the waves, meet fascinating sea creatures and mermaids, engage in beach fun, and participate in creative beach-themed projects.

Week 4:  (July 15-19) Pirates and Princesses
Ahoy, young adventurers!  Join us for a week of swashbuckling pirates and regal princesses. Campers will embark on a magical journey filled with treasure hunts, creative crafts, and enchanting fun. Let imaginations set sail in a week where pirates and princesses unite for an unforgettable adventure!

Week 5:  (July 22 - 26) Jungle Safari
Venture into the heart of the jungle where young campers will explore wild animals, create tropical landscapes, and engage in imaginative play as they learn about the wonders of the rainforest.

Week 6: (July 29 - August 2) Space Exploration
Blast off!  Embark on a space mission where campers will explore the wonders of the universe, meet friendly aliens, and become astronauts-in-training through cosmic crafts and stellar activities.  

If your child is entering Kindergarten this Fall, be sure to check out our Kindergarten Extension program, which will run Weeks 4, 5, and 6.

What your child needs to bring:
Mini Adventurers should bring a snack and a water bottle each day, along with a full change of clothes and a towel. Closed toe shoes (sneakers) are required for safety, and hats/sunglasses are helpful during outdoor activities. If you would like your child to wear sunscreen, please apply it before they arrive at camp. The welcome email you receive the week prior to camp will detail which days will be water days - plan to send a bathing suit/ have your child wear their bathing suit under their clothes on water days.

Per Connecticut General Statute 19a-77 we are required to disclose that our programs are not licensed by the State Office of Early Childhood.

Emergency/ Medical Form
The medical form linked below is required in order for your child to attend camp. Please bring it with your child on the first day they attend.

Medication Authorization
We cannot dispense over the counter medication, and campers cannot self-administer. A medication authorization form is required for any medications your camper may need during camp. Please call the Office at least 2 weeks in advance of camp to discuss necessary documentation (860) 653-7660.
