Seymour Garden Club - What You Water Grows!

Join Alicia Cruz, Executive Director of Nourish My Soul, for an after-school gardening experience! Students will learn how to plan a garden, starts seeds, prepare a garden bed, plant, and care for plants that will be enjoyed by all students and staff at Seymour School.

Gardening promotes healthy eating, emotional well-being, physical movement, as well as several subject matter connections. Students will take pride knowing they have contributed to a meaningful project to benefit the school community.

This is an 8-week program that will run on Tuesdays, April 16 - June 4, 2024, after school in the Science Lab, 2:55 - 4:30 pm. 
Please pick your child(ren) up promptly at 4:30 pm, at the entrance to the cafeteria, inside the playground gates. 
The cost is $60, which includes all supplies and a light, healthy snack each week. 

The permission slip below is required by Seymour School, for your child to attend the program. Please print, fill out, and sign it, then scan or snap a clear well-lit picture, and return it to eastgranbyrecreation@gmail.com no later than Friday, April 5th.
