The new Father/Daughter class is set to be a standout feature of the June recital, performing a dance to "Someday My Prince Will Come."
This presents an excellent chance for fathers and daughters to bond over a "dad-friendly" dance routine! Dancers aged 5 to 18 are welcome to join in the fun. Should a father have two daughters eligible to perform a dance, it is acceptable for a grandfather, uncle, or another paternal figure to accompany one of the girls.
This beginner-friendly, five-week class is scheduled for Thursdays, May 2 - May 30, between 7:00 PM and 7:45 PM, at the East Granby Farms Recreation Building. The cost is $70 per "couple". Please register ONLY the child and you will be asked to add her father figure's name in a question field during checkout.
For the recital, the dancing daughters will wear princess dresses of their choice and ballet slippers, and fathers will don black trousers, a white long-sleeved button-down shirt, and a tie that complements their daughter's dress.
Please note: this class is open only to current EG Rec dancers & their adult. Rehearsals are CLOSED to moms, siblings, and other adults.
