Love & Logic: Supporting Youth with Special Needs • Register • View Cart •

This four-week parenting program is designed by the Love and Logic Institute and is co-sponsored by East Granby Public Schools and East Granby Youth Services. 

This class will go over parenting tips specific for parents of children with disabilities, including:
* Mindset
* Grief with a new diagnosis or challenge
* Dealing with crisis
* Parenting Techniques that work
* Advocating for your child
* Controlling your level of stress
* Dealing with unwanted advice
* Having laughter and hope in the journey

You will learn how to...
* Reach discouraged and resistant learners
* Maintain healthy can-do expectations
* Understand the unique needs and competencies of each child
* Teach essential life skills
* Empower them toward success in life
* Avoid becoming overwhelmed by child's multiple, severe disabilities

When:  Thursdays:  May 1 - May 22, 2025 from 6:00pm - 7:30pm
Where:  East Granby Farms Sears House(white building on your left when you pull in the parking lot)
Cost:  $20
The cost for this program is $20 per family.  If two adults are attending, please register both individuals. The system will take the discount off during checkout.  Each family will receive one copy of the workbook to keep as a reference.

Facilitators of the Parenting the Love and Logic curriculum are independent and are not employees of Love and Logic Institute.
