Friday Night Hikes

Come hike with GVAdventures and the East Granby Parks and Recreation Department on our new “Friday Night Hike” series.  Six evenings this summer we’ll hike some local areas / trails and stretch our legs.  Depending on the location, we might spy some wildlife or take in a view.  All of these hikes will be less than 4 miles round trip so that we will have plenty of time to get back to our cars before the sun sets!  Our leader is an experienced hiker / trail runner and will help us pick out the highlights.  Bring a snack, water bottle and be ready to hit the trail at 5:30pm! 


Time: 5:30 pm  – 9 pm
Potential Locations: Newgate, Cowles, McLean Preserve, Rattlesnake Mtn, Penwood SP, Huelblin Tower, Tunxis Trail
Concept: Easy / convenient hikes 10- 15 people maximum.  Look for wildlife, explore local trails, physical fitness
Cost: $10 per person
