Middle School Boys' Council
A fun group for boys in grades 6-8, that blends hands on activities with guided discussions to help them build social skills and develop an understanding of what it means to them to be a boy in today's society. Topics touch in friendship, competition, stereotypes, and self esteem. Team building activities will be paired with other games and social learning exercises, following the One Circle Foundation curriculum.
This program is facilitated by Mason Williams, a Program Coordinator with East Granby Youth Services. This is not a therapy group; it is structured to provide social skills instruction and support as needed. 8 Participants max.
When: Tuesdays, September 20 - October 25, 2022, 4:00 - 5:30 pm
