Sticky, Shrinky, Shiny ART-ventures for Grades K - 2
The amazingly imaginative 2 and 3 dimensional projects in this program will inspire children's creativity as they experiment with a variety of unique art forms, tools, and techniques. Art explores create Shrinky Dink Animal Pendants, and Sequined Mexican Mirrors. Make Funny Felt Monsters, paint Ceramic Owl Banks and Sculpt Sweet Treat Clay Desserts.
These projects will introduce children to a world of artistic wonder while we encourage their own original ideas and unique perception and interpretation of art. Children will bring home awesome works of art each day!
Classes will be held on Mondays, May 9 - June 6, 2022 from 3:05 - 4:30pm. Parks and Recreation staff will meet the students at the end of the school day at Allgrove school and walk them over to the Community Center for class.
A light snack will be provided and pick-up will be at the East Granby Community Center promptly at 4:30pm. The cost of the program is $69.
