Summer Boy's Council Camp

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Boy's Council is a self-esteem and confidence building summer program that uses games and activities to engage boys in grades 3,4, and 5 helping them identify and explore the many messages our society sends telling them what being a boy and a man means. The group will help them have fun but also identify when these messages are good for them, and when they might be a problem.  It will empower them to choose the roles that fit them, reject those that do not, and focus on personal strengths, skills and abilities regardless of the messages they are sent about what they "should" be able to do.

During this half day summer program, we will engage in crafts and conversations to help with these lessons. Please bring a snack, lunch, and water.
