Nature Camp a study of Salmon Brook
This camp is for children in grades 2-6 who want to be outside, rain or shine, learning about nature. The camp will be run by Amanda Thompson, EGLT Program Director, and EGLT student interns and will have special guest presenters thanks to a donation from Lower Farmington River and Salmon Brook Wild & Scenic Committee.
Campers will spend time looking for live bugs and insects, learning about each species and their special features, as well as learning about what reptiles, amphibians, birds and plants make Salmon Brook an important ecosystem.
Campers will also learn outdoors skills like basic first aid, fire making, knot tying, and compass use.
